Writers Wanted

We are looking for writers to pen short articles for our small family of crafting websites about relevant topics to the paper craft industry. For example: card making as a business, the origin of R.S.V.P., an interesting write-up about the Pony Express and mail, poignant, personal stories about crafting, a personal experience about one of our products, anything related to scrapbooking, etc.

1. Each article should be approximately 500-800 words.

2. All submissions must be original work only. In other words you must be the author. We respect copyright owners and will protect their rights to the fullest extent. It is acceptable to get ideas from books and internet sites but please respect the copyrights of others and use your own words if the ideas are inspired by others. If you do receive inspiration from other sources please provide a list for our reference.

3. You must obtain pre-approval from our staff before submitting your article. Please send a brief description to writers17 (AT) greensneakers (DOT) com (replace AT with @ and DOT with a period). We will then either greenlight the topic or provide an explanation as to why we would rather see something else. When you complete the article, please submit it to writers17 (AT) greensneakers (DOT) com (replace AT with @ and DOT with a period).

4. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. We receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased and reserve the right to edit all submissions.

5. Compensation for APPROVED ARTICLES ONLY is agreed upon prior to commencement in writing on a per article basis. If you submit an article without first gaining approval from our staff we may elect not to provide compensation.
